Kurt Arnold
Kurt Arnold is a long time resident of Houston and its surrounding areas. After graduating high school, Kurt attended the University of Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government with High Honors at the age of 19. He graduated from The University of Texas Law School with Honors as a member of the Order of the Coif (top 10 percent of his class). Kurt also received the Dean's Achievement Awards in Business Associations, Evidence, and Professional Responsibility. While in Austin, Kurt worked for the Governor of Texas and also interned for the Honorable Alberto Gonzales at the Texas Supreme Court.
After graduating law school, Kurt served as a law clerk to the Honorable Samuel B. Kent, the U.S. District Court Judge in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas. Before founding Arnold & Itkin LLP, Kurt worked with Jason Itkin at Susman Godfrey LLP– one of the nation's premier trial law firms. While there, they helped achieve successful results in and out of the courtroom for corporate and individual clients in product liability cases, fraud actions, and wide-ranging business disputes. Since starting his own firm, Kurt has achieved substantial verdicts and settlement for his clients. Kurt has successfully represented aggrieved partners in complex business disputes, seriously injured persons, families of wrongfully killed workers, and numerous other companies and people in wide ranging disputes. Kurt has handled cases in over twenty states and in front of juries, judges, and arbitration tribunals. In the past two years, Kurt has tried more than twenty cases.
In a survey of his legal peers published by Texas Monthly magazine, Kurt was selected as a "Texas Rising Star” on multiple occasions and has also been included in H Texas’s "Top Lawyers for the People" list in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
