Cesar was born in Mexico City and raised in the shadow of the mountains in northern Utah. After serving his church for two years as a volunteer missionary, he completed degrees at Utah Valley State College, Brigham Young University, and Harvard Law School, graduating with honors from all three institutions.
After law school, he was offered positions with several of the largest most respected law firms in the country. He turned down those offers to go practice law at a prominent firm near his wife's family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cesar quickly developed a reputation for being able to assimilate a large amount of highly technical and complex information and distilling it to persuasive and understandable narratives. Large and small corporations entrusted Cesar to develop successful legal strategies in matters with, at times, hundreds of millions and even billions of dollars at risk.
With the support of his family, Cesar decided he wanted to spend more time doing what he loves most: advocating for his clients in court. Cesar contacted Arnold & Itkin because of their reputation as some of the most prominent and successful trial lawyers in the country. He began working at Arnold & Itkin in 2014.
Cesar is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas. He is also admitted to practice in federal courts for the Northern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma.
Prior to moving to Texas, Cesar served as a leader for his church congregation. He was also actively involved in the State Bar being selected to its leadership academy. He was involved with his local bar where he served on various committees and organized events including a pro-bono immigration clinic. He helped establish pro-bono programs at his prior firm including a partnership with a local law school to provide legal representation to immigrants and work with the local bar to provide legal representation to individuals in landlord / tenant disputes.
