Arnold & Itkin LLP file a claim today in Harris County District Court on behalf of a young woman whose apartment’s ceiling collapsed. The woman had made numerous prior complaints regarding the condition of her apartment to apartment management, each of which were ignored.
She sustained injuries to her neck and other parts of her body as a result of the collapse. In premises liability law, property owners are obligated to provide reasonably safe environments for tenants, guests, or customers. When people get hurt due to negligence of ownership or management, then those at-fault should be made to pay for medical care, lost wages, and other damages for the victim.
Our client’s property managers were ethically and legally required to ensure that her ceiling was safe and structurally sound. When they ignored her complaints, they were essentially putting her at risk for no good reason.
Arnold & Itkin is proud to represent this woman and seek the justice that she deserves.
