Hot Tub Accident Catastrophically Injures Child

Arnold & Itkin LLP recently filed a lawsuit for a family whose young child suffered a catastrophic submersion injury in an apartment complex hot tub as a result of the defendants’ conduct. Our firm has filed suit against the owner of the apartment complex and its management company.

Submersion injuries can leave survivors with lasting brain injuries. Mobility, learning, and quality of life can all suffer as a result, which put incredible financial strain on the families of drowning survivors for the rest of their lives. Even a short submersion can cause catastrophic damage that won’t be evident for years.

Families have the right to expect that the facilities where they live are safe for their children. Ultimately, apartment complex owners and managers are responsible for what happens in the common areas of their property. When apartment complex policies and employees endanger children, they need to be held accountable so that no one else suffers the same consequences.

Arnold & Itkin looks forward to representing this family in seeking the justice they deserve for this horrific tragedy. The lawsuit was filed in Harris County, Texas, where the property is located.
