Arnold & Itkin recently filed two lawsuits on behalf of truck accident survivors who were seriously injured as the result of unsafe turns.
Although these were two separate collisions, their causes were similar. Trucks are large and difficult to maneuver. Truck drivers must be aware of “blind spots,” or areas where they cannot see other vehicles, pedestrians, or other obstacles and objects. Turning is particularly challenging and can be the cause of an accident if a driver does not exercise proper caution, check blind spots, and watch out for oncoming traffic.
Our first case was filed on behalf of a hardworking father and husband who was seriously injured when a truck driver made an unsafe turn into traffic. The truck violently collided with our client’s vehicle, and our client is now dealing with the aftermath of these severe injuries.
Our second case was filed for a mother and wife who was harmed in a crash caused by a trucker who made an unsafe turn and struck her vehicle. The impact of the collision occurred with such force that our client was seriously injured. Our client must now face healing from her injuries while trying to keep her life together.
Our truck accident attorneys look forward to seeking justice for these two clients and their families. When trucking companies push drivers to make unrealistic deadlines, when truck drivers make careless decisions, and when anyone on the road fails to uphold basic safe driving practices, we stand ready to help those affected get the compensation they need to rebuild and move on. That is our goal with these two lawsuits, and with every case.
Both of these cases were filed in Harris County, Texas.
