Welder Burned in Plant Accident Due to Unsafe Materials

Attorneys from Arnold & Itkin LLP filed suit on behalf of a contractor injured in a turnaround accident at the General Motors plant in Arlington, Texas. Our client is a welder, and he was injured because a third party broke the safety rules and left flammable materials where our client would be working. He suffered serious burn injuries and other harm as a result of his welding accident.
Accidents don’t just happen. People get hurt because plant owners and companies they hire expose workers to dangerous situations without warning or compliance with regulation. Our client would not have been harmed if the company was following the rules, plain and simple. Now, he has to contend with the lifelong trauma, pain, and suffering that come with severe burns. Our firm is proud to represent this man in righting this wrong.
The suit was filed in Tarrant County, Texas.
