2 Injured in Preventable 18-Wheeler Accident

Attorneys Kurt Arnold and Adam Lewis filed suit on behalf of 2 injured Texans on February 25th. Our clients sustained serious injuries in a preventable accident with an 18-wheeler. The truck, owned and operated by HDB Trucking, made an illegal turn and rear-ended our clients’ vehicle as they were preparing to turn left off the highway. The catastrophic impact pushed their vehicle off the highway, causing injuries that could affect them for the rest of their lives.
Trucking companies have an obligation to protect their drivers as well as everyone else around them. Because their vehicles are the largest on the road, weighing up to 40 tons, the safe operation of tractor-trailers is imperative to everyone’s safety. Thousands of major accidents like the one our clients were involved in are caused by improper turns. This type of dangerous driving can be prevented with the proper training that trucking companies must give to their drivers.
As long as trucking companies put profits before people, the road will not be safe for innocent people like our clients. Arnold & Itkin fights for the rights of those who have been injured in preventable accidents like this one. We are proud to represent our clients and will pursue maximum compensation for their injuries.
This suit was filed in Duval County, Texas.
