Arnold & Itkin LLP File Jones Act Lawsuit for Louisiana Seaman

Arnold & Itkin LLP maritime attorneys Jason Itkin and Cory Itkin recently filed a Jones Act lawsuit on behalf of a Grambling, Louisiana man. The offshore worker was injured when he fell while trying to use a make-shift stair case that had been welded to the deck of a jack up rig. The steps did not comply with OSHA or Coast Guard standards and as a result, the man seriously injured his back. The man is seeking compensation for his injuries that were allegedly incurred due to the negligence of his employer. The case was filed in Harris County, Texas.
