Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin and Noah Wexler of Arnold & Itkin LLP filed a lawsuit on behalf of a seaman who was injured while performing his job duties. The Jones Act worker was from New Iberia, Louisiana and at the time of the incident, was working on the AXXIS INDEPENDENCE off the coast of Louisiana. The seaman was working with drilling tongs when an accident caused him to injure his back, neck and shoulder. The worker attempted to seek medical treatment but his employer fired him as a result.
