Claim Filed for Worker Injured in Industrial Accident

Arnold & Itkin LLP has filed a lawsuit against Reinforced Earth Co. and Homeland Staffing on behalf of an injured industrial worker. The plaintiff was injured by another worker when the other worker energized the machine on which the plaintiff was working. In the accident, the plaintiff lost two fingers. The suit against Reinforced Earth Co. was filed for a failure to enact a lockout tagout (LOTO) procedure for the equipment involved in the accident. This LOTO procedure is an OSHA standard for controlling hazardous energy and thus preventing injuries to workers. An additional claim has been filed against Homeland Staffing, the employer of the worker responsible for turning on the machine.

Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Kyle Findley, and another attorney from Arnold & Itkin have filed the claims in Harris County, Texas, where the case is pending. Our legal team is proud to provide excellent legal representation on behalf of such brave men and women.
