Suit Filed for Longshoreman Injured in Explosion

Attorneys Jason Itkin, Noah Wexler, and Cory Itkin recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a longshoreman who was severely injured when an explosion occurred on the vessel that he was working on. The longshoreman was doing some welding on the watercraft when there was a sudden explosion. The individual suffered severe burns in the blast.

The man was taken to a hospital in Corpus Christi, the town where the accident occurred. Unfortunately, his injuries were so serious that he had to be transported to Houston for specialized care. The Houston hospital was able to handle his facial burns and help to treat the injuries. The plaintiff may suffer permanent scarring on his face and other parts of his body.

Arnold & Itkin: Fighting for Just Compensation

The case was filed in Nueces County Court at Law, and the vessel was owned and operated by Third Coast Towing, LLC. The attorneys at Arnold & Itkin LLP are proud to assist this client and help him get the medical care that he needs after his accident. The attorneys hope to secure satisfactory compensation for their client so that he can cover the costly medical bills affiliated with the injury and can also recover without having to worry about heading back to work.
