A woman who fractured her ankle while touring an open house has filed a premises liability lawsuit against the homeowners. While walking through the backyard of the home, the woman fell due to a dangerous ledge near the pool area. As a result, the woman required surgery to repair her leg.
The lawsuit was filed in Travis County, Texas. It alleges the homeowners failed to maintain reasonably safe premises and failed to warn the plaintiff of the unsafe condition that caused her fall.
The lawsuit seeks compensation for the plaintiff’s medical expenses and physical pain and impairment.
