Arnold & Itkin is proud to announce that we have been ranked by U.S. News and Best Lawyers among the top law firms in Houston and in the nation. U.S. News and legal rating company Best Lawyers® jointly publish an annual list of the leading law firms in the nation and in each region, organized by rank in a three-tier structure. The list, titled “Best Law Firms,” provides a list of some of the most renowned and successful law firms in 70+ practice areas.
Our Houston injury firm was recognized for our work in Admiralty & Maritime Law, earning a Tier 1 ranking among Houston law firms and a Tier 2 ranking among all maritime law firms nationwide.
Why We Were Recognized
To be eligible for inclusion on the “Best Law Firms” list, as law firm must include at least one member attorney named to a recent edition of Best Lawyers in America©. Five of our senior attorneys, including founding partners Kurt Arnold and Jason Itkin, have been named to the 2018 edition of Best Lawyers© for our work in Plaintiffs’ Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, and Admiralty & Maritime Law.
Each eligible firm is graded by the top-performing attorneys or prominent legal authorities in their region or practice area. Law firms are judged according to their ethics, integrity, cost-effectiveness, court performance, and competitive advantages—often by the lawyers who have faced them in court. The highest scoring law firms are organized into three tiers, with Tier 1 representing the highest scores among all the law firms.
Arnold & Itkin is already known among our peers and opponents as one of the most effective, aggressive maritime law firms. Our names and case victories are included in the history of the most challenging, complex cases in the world, including the Deepwater Horizon explosion, El Faro disaster, and more. Most importantly, we have helped thousands of individuals and families find their strength again after senseless tragedy.
We are proud that our law firm has been recognized once again for our contribution to the practice of maritime law and our contribution to the lives of seamen and rig workers nationwide.
