Case Filed for Utility Worker Who Lost Arm Due to Severe Burns

Arnold & Itkin recently filed suit on behalf of a man who was severely burned while working on utility poles owned by Deep East Electric Cooperative out of San Augustine, Texas. The man worked for East Texas Utility Services and was contracted by the defendant to change out a breaker pole in Joaquin, Texas. During the course of the job, our client suffered an accident.

As a result of the incident, the man suffered severe burns all over his body and had to have one arm amputated. Burn injuries normally do not require amputation unless the burn reaches down to the bone and muscle. Such an injury is known as a "full thickness" burn. Our client, as a result of his injuries, has lost what can never be replaced. However, our Texas burn injury lawyers are fighting to replace what he can: his lost wages, his medical expenses, and the income he would have made if he had never been injured.

Arnold & Itkin filed suit in Shelby County, Texas and is eager to fight for the man and get him the compensation he deserves.
