Case Filed For Man Who Had Foot Amputated Because of Railroad Accident

Arnold & Itkin recently filed a case on behalf of a Dallas man who was seriously injured by the negligent actions of a major railroad operator and its employees. The man suffered injuries while attempting to cross the train tracks near his home. Our client was told it was safe to cross and had his foot crushed when railroad workers changed the direction of the tracks he was on the tracks. Injuries to our client’s foot were so severe that he had to have his foot amputated. Because of a completely preventable mistake, our client will never be able to walk normally for the rest of his life. This is not right, and he should be compensated for his permanent injury.

Railroads are not an uncommon location for accidents. However, this fact does not make what happened to our client acceptable. Railroad companies must train their employees with proper safety protocols, especially when they are operating their trains in populated areas. Arnold & Itkin’s train accident attorneys have a history of winning compensation for clients, and we look forward to fighting for the justice that this man deserves.
