Lawsuit Filed for Dock Worker Injured by Crane

Arnold & Itkin has filed suit for a man who was injured while working as a laborer at a dock in Port Comfort, Texas. The man was performing rigging operations when a crane operator unsafely moved the crane prematurely, causing the man to fall and injure his leg and shoulder. Leg and shoulder injuries, especially for physical laborers, lead to medical and financial hardships that have repercussions for years.

Crane accidents are some of the most devastating but preventable accidents in all industries. Recently, Texas was the subject of a crane accident investigation that found us to be the most unsafe state in the country when it comes to crane accidents. Without exception, it is every employer's responsibility to ensure their cranes are operated by highly trained and qualified individuals. When they're not, terrible consequences can result. Arnold & Itkin is eager to get the man the justice he deserves for his injuries.

The case was filed in Harris County, Texas.
