Arnold & Itkin LLP Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Kyle Findley, and Adam Lewis filed a lawsuit today for two truck accident victims. Our clients are two women who sustained serious injuries when they were violently struck broadside at an intersection in Oklahoma City, OK. At the time of the accident, our clients were traveling through a stop sign-controlled intersection when a driver for RHS Trucking, LLC ran a stop sign without warning, causing a “T-bone” collision.
The truck driver failed to control his speed, failed to keep a proper look out and failed to stop at a stop sign, causing this preventable accident. The impact was so severe, our clients had to be taken away from the scene via ambulance for emergency medical treatment.
Trucks are heavy and massive vehicles, which is why they need longer stopping distances and can cause a great deal of damage in an 18-wheeler accident. They require extra vigilance and skill in order to operate them correctly, which is why we require commercial drivers licenses in the first place. The defendant’s driver not only exhibited reckless negligence with his speed, but also failed to obey the laws of the road when they mattered most.
Arnold & Itkin is proud to represent their clients, in holding reckless and negligent trucking companies responsible, as well as pushing the transportation industry to make public roads safer for all motorists. The suit was filed in Dallas County, Texas.
