10-Year-Old Drowns in Houston Hilton Westchase Pool

Arnold & Itkin LLP recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a family whose 10-year-old daughter drowned at the Houston Hilton Westchase pool as a result of the defendants’ conduct. Drowning accidents are the third leading cause of death worldwide, and the second leading cause of death for children under 14 in the United States. According to the CDC, 1 in 5 drowning victims are under the age of 14.

The owners and managers of the Houston Hilton Westchase should have known about the drowning risk their pool presented. Their knowledge of drowning risks and their responsibility to keep guests safe means they should have taken proper precautions against an accident just like this one. They failed. Our firm has filed suit against the owner and management company of the hotel. Arnold & Itkin LLP is committed to representing this family in seeking the justice they deserve for this horrific tragedy.

The lawsuit was filed in Harris County, Texas.
