Biography
Shane Munton grew up in Southern California, where he learned the value of hard work, discipline, and dedication as a competitive swimmer and water polo player in high school. After graduating, Shane deepened his commitment to empathetic service while serving a two-year church mission, dedicating his time to supporting communities away from home.
Shane later attended college in Hawaii, where his appreciation for community and service continued to grow. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a minor in Political Science, and a certificate in Legal Studies before attending BYU Law School in Provo, Utah. There, he discovered that the best way he could serve his community was in the courtroom.
At BYU Law, Shane quickly distinguished himself in trial advocacy. He won first place in his 1L trial competition, reached the finals of the Linda Anderson Trial Competition as a 2L, and won first place in that same competition as a 3L. He also helped lead his team to the semifinals in regionals for a national trial competition.
At Arnold & Itkin, Shane handles all types of serious injury and wrongful death matters, including those involving truck accidents, industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents, oilfield injuries, and more. Shane brings a client-first approach to every case, treating each matter with personal commitment and relentless preparation. At the end of the day, he fights for those who don't have the resources to fight for themselves.
Outside the courtroom, Shane enjoys time with his wife and their three children, training for Spartan races, and fishing of all types.
