Case Filed for Crane Incident at Middle School Construction Site
Arnold & Itkin’s catastrophic personal injury attorneys have filed suit on behalf of a Texas man who was seriously injured during crane operations at a middle school construction site in New Braunfels, Texas. The lawsuit, filed in Harris County, focuses on the defendant companies’ failure to ensure safe crane procedures. These were failures that ultimately caused a preventable and life-altering injury.
According to the lawsuit, the crane operator lifted the crane’s boom when conditions were not safe, causing the hook to swing abruptly and strike our client in the back of the head. Incidents like this are rarely “accidents.” They are the result of inadequate oversight, poor training, and construction companies choosing speed or convenience over basic worker safety.
Our client now has to deal with serious head and neck injuries, ongoing medical treatment, and uncertainty about his future. Arnold & Itkin looks forward to holding the responsible companies fully accountable and ensuring that they implement the safety measures that should have been in place long before this incident occurred.
“This middle school construction site was an accident waiting to happen. Our client was a victim of poor supervision, poor planning, and poor communication. We look forward to holding the responsible companies accountable for causing our client's injuries,” said Adam Lewis, a work injury lawyer from Arnold & Itkin who is working on this case.
