Representing Welding Technician Who Fell in a Chemical Tower
Arnold & Itkin attorneys Jason Itkin, Trent Shelton, and Wes Hook have filed suit in Galveston County on behalf of a welding technician who suffered serious injuries on the job.
Our client was performing critical work in a chemical plant tower, in an environment the company knew required heightened safety measures. Instead, the plant allowed workers to enter the tower even though the trays were haphazardly positioned and the workspace was fundamentally unsafe. As a result, our client fell while working inside the 200-foot tower.
This incident reflects a broader pattern within the industry, a pattern of companies prioritizing production schedules over safe working conditions. Despite knowing the risks and having the means to correct them, the defendants failed to protect their employees. As a result, a hardworking technician now faces a long recovery, medical complications, and uncertainty about his ability to return to work.
Our work injury attorneys look forward to demanding answers, exposing the systemic failures that caused this preventable fall, and ensuring our client receives the justice and support he deserves.
