Suit Filed for Plant Worker’s Fall Due to Defective Ladder Grips

Arnold & Itkin attorneys Jason Itkin, Trent Shelton, and Wes Hook have filed suit on behalf of a plant worker who was injured after falling from a ladder due to defective ladder grips. The incident occurred because the grips—meant to provide stability and prevent exactly this type of fall—were poorly manufactured and improperly installed. Despite knowing that workers relied on this equipment daily, no one warned employees of the risk until it was too late.

Equipment used in industrial facilities must meet strict safety standards, and companies are responsible for ensuring the products they install are safe, properly maintained, and fit for daily use. When organizations cut corners or ignore known defects, hardworking people get hurt.

Our client suffered serious injuries that could have been avoided had even basic quality control and communication protocols been followed. Our work injury lawyers look forward to holding the responsible parties accountable and ensuring this type of preventable hazard is never ignored again.
