Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Jason Itkin, Caj Boatright, Roland Christensen, and Trent Shelton have filed suit on behalf of an injured pipeline worker. Our client was doing his job when he suddenly fell into the ditch where workers were laying the pipeline. In most job sites, there’s a protective barrier around trenches or ditches to prevent people from falling in, but the pipeline owner and the company it hired to perform safety inspections failed to ensure there was a fence around the ditch.
Our client has already undergone surgery. Even with a plate and eight screws placed in his arm, his bone still has not properly healed. Doctors have opined that our client will never fully heal from this incident. This has presently, and in the future, left our client unable to provide for his family. It was not until after our client suffered significant injuries that the defendants decided to do the right thing and make sure the site was safe for the workers—which is far too often true of companies. However, this gesture toward workplace safety will do nothing for our client, who faces lifelong financial insecurity after his catastrophic injury.
Arnold & Itkin will fight vigorously for this man and make sure these defendants ensure safety is their number one priority going forward.
This suit was filed in Harris County, TX.
