Construction Painter Falls 20 Feet & Suffers Brain Injury

Construction accident attorneys at Arnold & Itkin have filed suit on behalf of a construction painter who suffered a life-threatening fall from a height. Our firm is seeking damages against a general contractor that failed to adequately maintain and warn of dangerous conditions present on the job site. A general contractor is obligated to ensure each employee or subcontractor is able to work in a safe environment. The defendant utterly failed in its duties when it covered up a hole with plywood—a completely inadequate and dangerous solution.
As a result, our client—a husband and father—fell 20 feet through the hole, causing him a severe brain injury. The harm he suffered required extremely invasive surgery, further putting him and his family at risk. “Arnold & Itkin looks forward to seeking justice for Enrique,” our firm said about the case. “Enrique is a father and husband who provided for his entire family. All of that was ripped away when the defendant failed to ensure the worksite was safe.”
Our firm will make sure our client gets what he needs while we prepare his case for trial.
