Seaman’s Finger Crushed by Falling Equipment

Our maritime injury attorneys have filed a lawsuit on behalf of an injured seaman whose finger was crushed on the job.
Our client was working as an able-bodied seaman when a piece of equipment fell on and crushed his finger. Catastrophic injuries like these are preventable. They occur when offshore companies fail to prioritize the safety of their equipment and their crews.
Our attorneys had this to say about the case, “Far too often, we see companies neglect basic safety principles that put their employees at risk. This is especially true for offshore oil companies. This incident could have been avoided had the company decided to put more emphasis on safety. Unfortunately, the company did not, and our client suffered the consequences.”
We look forward to holding this defendant accountable and getting the justice our client deserves.
