Suit Filed for Man Crushed in Collapsed Corn Silo

Arnold & Itkin’s catastrophic personal injury lawyers are representing a man who was crushed by a wave of corn after a silo exploded and collapsed. Our client barely escaped with his life.

This husband and father sustained severe and permanent injuries from being crushed under thick corn. Our client will have grain embedded in his lungs for life. He suffered from a concussion and has an ongoing, bad headache that he can't shake, as well as continual pain in the back of his eyes and lungs. There is also a constant ringing in his ears, and he is dizzy, lightheaded, and forgetful. His legs are bruised and sore, his back is tight, and his right arm is swollen. On top of this, he has suffered severe mental trauma, causing him to suffer from anxiety as he can’t stop thinking about the accident, and he feels dread throughout his body and mind.

Arnold & Itkin’s lawyers are suing the owners of the property, as the property was in disrepair. The owners of the property had failed to warn our client and did nothing to make the property safe for him or his coworkers. In fact, shortly after this incident, another structure on the property collapsed. These types of failures are unacceptable. We look forward to holding those at fault accountable for hurting our client.

“Getting crushed by a wave of corn sounds like something that happens only in movies. Unfortunately, this is how our client sustained severe and permanent injuries, and he is haunted by this horrific memory every day. We look forward to holding the owners liable.”

This case was filed in Midland County.
