At a small Georgia airport, a jet was landing from a flight that originated in Nashville, Tennessee when it skidded out of control, speeding into the woods that fringed the small runway. According to reports from Seattle PI, the airplane slammed into the woods in a devastating crash that cost five lives. Two other passengers on the plane were severely injured. Both federal and local authorities investigated on Thursday and discovered that the plane overran its landing.
