Attorneys File Lawsuit After 18-Wheeler Accident in Houston

Arnold & Itkin LLP commercial truck accident lawyers Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin, and Noah Wexler filed suit today on behalf of a 46 year old Houston man who was t-boned by a 18-wheeler. The complaint alleges that the driver of the 18-wheeler ran a red light and crashed into the plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident.

The semi-truck was owned and operated by Vela Transport, LLC, a Michigan company that does a substantial amount of business in Texas. The semi-truck driver is a Michigan resident.

Among other things, the lawsuit alleges that the truck driver failed to yield right of way and that Vela Transport failed to properly train its employees. The suit seeks damages for medical bills, pain and suffering and loss of past and future earnings.

Arnold & Itkin is proud to help hold another commercial trucking company responsible for their unsafe drivers.

The case was filed in Harris County, Texas.
