Arnold & Itkin LLP oilfield attorneys Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin, and Noah Wexler filed a lawsuit on behalf of an oilfield worker who was injured while working in Iraq. The worker, who is from Florien, Louisiana, injured his back while moving heavy cable in May of 2014. He is now suing Parker Drilling Company as result, claiming that the company was negligent in properly supervising and training its employees and that it failed to provide a safe work place, adequate safety equipment, and proper lifting assistance.
The plaintiff now seeks compensation for physical pain and impairment, mental anguish and present and future lost wages.
The case was filed on Tuesday in Harris County, Texas.
