Attorneys Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin and Noah Wexler have recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Harris County resident who had rented a ladder from a Houston area Home Depot store. As the plaintiff was standing on the ladder, it collapsed – sending her crashing to the ground. As a result of the fall, she severely fractured both her feet and ankles.
The lawsuit alleges that the ladder was defective in the way it was designed, manufactured, tested, and sold. Werner Co., the manufacturer of the ladder, and Home Depot, the lessor of the ladder, are both named as defendants in the lawsuit.
The lawsuit seeks damages for medical expenses incurred, lost wages, and physical and mental anguish.
The case was filed in Harris County, TX.
