Case Filed for Conductor Trainee Injured in Train Crash

Kurt Arnold, Kyle Findley, Kala Sellers and Adam Lewis filed suit in Dallas County on behalf of a train conductor–in-training who was injured in a violent train crash. Arnold & Itkin LLP’s client suffered a crushed skull, brain damage, and a broken left hand. He is currently undergoing treatment for further injuries. He had to be airlifted from the scene of the crash to a local hospital.

Arnold & Itkin's client was headed home when the train he was riding came around the corner and collided with another train that was stopped on the tracks. The weight of an empty train car is over 40 tons, so the momentum of several cars traveling at 40-60 mph is devastating. Train accidents are often lethal for at least a few–and deeply harmful for everyone else.

Our client was seriously injured through no fault of his own. Who will pay for his medical care? Who will provide for his family while he recuperates? How will he find a new career, should he need one? Our firm believes the answer to that question is simple:

Whoever caused the accident should pay for the consequences.

Arnold & Itkin LLP is proud to represent innocent employees who are injured when railroad companies fail to follow basic safety rules.
