Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Caj Boatright, Alison Baimbridge, and Roland Christensen filed suit today in Tarrant County for a Texas man who lost his life at a nightclub. The Texas nightclub allowed armed patrons to enter the establishment, and this cost our client his life.
Business owners, especially businesses that operate as bars, restaurants, or nightclubs, are responsible for the safety of their guests. When someone enters a privately-owned business open to the public, they have a legally-supported expectation of safety. Grocery stores and nightclubs alike are responsible for having policies and employees who keep visitors reasonably safe.
Whether our client was killed by negligent security or through poor practices, it was the nightclub who was ultimately responsible for allowing weapons into the club. Holding them accountable will get justice for our client's family while ensuring the club pays for its negligence. It's our hope that this never happens again—especially not in any club operated by these owners.
Arnold & Itkin LLP is proud to represent Texas residents who have been killed due to the negligence of nightclub owners and operators.
