Case Filed for Truck Driver Injured Because of Improper Work Equipment

Arnold & Itkin recently filed a case on behalf of a worker who sustained injuries while making a delivery. Our client was unloading cargo from a truck at a national office supply chain when he sustained severe injuries to his back. These injuries occurred because our client received instructions to unload his vehicle without proper equipment. Had this equipment been provided to our client, he would have been able to avoid his serious injuries and their lasting repercussions. To make our client’s situation even more difficult, he did not pass his Department of Transportation physical because of his injuries and is no longer able to work as he did before his accident.

Companies have a responsibility to provide workers with the equipment needed to do their job safely. When they fail to do so, employees pay the steepest consequences with their health. Arnold & Itkin looks forward to fighting for the compensation that this man needs after unfairly losing his ability to work. Our work accident attorneys filed this case in Tarrant County, Texas.
