Claim Filed After Fatal Construction Accident

Arnold & Itkin Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Caj Boatright, Roland Christensen, and Alison Baimbridge recently filed a case on behalf of a 26-year-old Texas man who lost his life while working in construction. He fell to his death from the roof of a building he was working on. Arnold & Itkin filed suit against the general contractor, property owner, developer, and the roofing subcontractor for failing to provide adequate fall protection and placing the lives of all workers for the project at risk.

Construction has so many potentially fatal hazards that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration gives its four most common fatal accidents increased publicity in an effort to make the industry safer. One of these common accidents is falls—an accident type which caused 39.2 percent of construction fatalities in 2017. With this statistic in mind, our client’s employer has no excuse for failing to protect his life. Arnold & Itkin's construction accident attorneys are proud to fight for this young man's loved ones, and we will fight for the compensation that his family deserves.
