Our Construction Accident Lawyers Are Currently Fighting for an Injured Worker

Arnold & Itkin's construction injury lawyers are representing a Texas man who sustained serious injuries while on the job. He was putting together a large metal barn at the instruction of the defendant when he fell from an unsafe walk board and tractor scaffolding device used to lift workers at construction projects.

The defendant, who owned the walk board and tractor, knew that the walk board did not contain the required pins used to secure it to the tractor forks. The board shifted suddenly as our client was working, throwing him from it. He fell 15 feet onto unpadded concrete, split open his head, and broke three vertebrae in his spine. After the fall, which rendered him unconscious, our client had to be airlifted to the hospital and now lives in constant, agonizing pain. Now, the defendant is refusing to even return our client’s phone calls after placing him in this life-threatening situation.

Construction work is among the most dangerous in the United States. According to OSHA, construction workers accounted for 21.1 percent of fatal accidents in 2018. While equipment maintenance is always important for safety, it’s especially important for construction work because of this fact.

At Arnold & Itkin, we’re always ready to seek the justice that construction workers deserve after suffering from preventable accidents. No one should have their life changed by serious head and back injuries while working. Our team will fight for the compensation that this man needs and we'll refuse to settle for less.
