It was a plant explosion and I hurt myself—fell, tripped, and hurt my ankle, my knee, my back, my shoulder, my wrist. Very dramatic. To have something that was so horrific happen in your life, it changes your life forever. For a long, long time, the company that I was working for had a deaf ear. They weren't moving and weren't trying to do anything. It was like that we weren't even human—like we weren't even important.
But Arnold & Itkin and them made sure that we were somebody. They made us feel like we were somebody, and we were worthy.
When they come in that courtroom, they come with that baseball hat on and they come with that bat because they come to play ball. They aren't there to lose. They come to win. If you want to be on a winning team, you have to pick Arnold & Itkin because they are the best.
It was like a kid having a bully and someone steps in and stands up to that bully and said that, “No, you're not going to bully this person anymore.” They step in and help you. They help you through showing you love. I felt like family because they were there to listen and hear—not just brush you off because “you're just a client.” They let me know when I met them that everything was going be all right. Ever since the day I met them until today that I'm sitting here, they have always had my back.
