Case Filed for Houston Warehouse Worker Crushed by Forklift

Arnold & Itkin’s industrial accident lawyers have filed suit on behalf of a warehouse worker from Houston who experienced devastating injuries when a careless forklift operator backed into him.

Our client was working in a Floor & Décor warehouse in Baytown, Texas, when a forklift driver backed into him, crushing him against a pole. His injuries were catastrophic, including a detached and ruptured bladder, five pelvis fractures, and a right hip fracture. Our client, who is a husband and father of three, required multiple surgeries and a blood transfusion to treat his injuries.

“Too many employers don't train and certify their forklift drivers,” said our attorneys in a statement. “This is a recipe for disaster. When incidents like this happen, the victims need strong representation to get the compensation they deserve and ensure that the employer changes its ways.”

Our client has a long road to recovery ahead of him, and we are proud to help him get the support and care he and his family need. We filed this suit in Harris County, Texas.
