Case Filed For Worker With Serious Crush Injury

Arnold & Itkin recently filed suit on behalf of a worker whose hand was crushed by a heavy check valve being lifted by a crane.

The crane rigging crew was not certified to perform crane operations, and our client did not have an escape route when the valve slipped, which happened because the scaffold he was working on was too small for the job.

Companies must provide qualified employees and the correct equipment for every single job; if they don’t, workers like our client are put in danger.

“At Arnold & Itkin, we take pride in representing injured workers and will leave no stone unturned in our fight for justice for our client,” our work injury attorneys said in a statement.

We look forward to holding the company responsible for their failures. This case was filed in East Baton Rouge Parish.
