Representing Husband & Wife After Drowning at Water Park

Arnold & Itkin’s Kurt Arnold, Caj Boatright, Roland Christensen, and Alec Paradowski have filed suit in Harris County on behalf of a man and his wife after a drowning at Sclitterbahn’s Galveston water park.

While water parks are intended to be entertaining, they can only be fun if visitors feel safe. Standards set by the industry and governing bodies are designed to minimize risks and safeguard visitors. Schlitterbahn’s lifeguards did not adequately monitor the swimming area, and failed to rescue our client from drowning. Lifeguards are supposed to be trained to handle various emergency situations, from minor injuries to severe cases like drowning.

We will pursue all avenues to understand the full scope of negligence involved in order to ensure such an incident does not occur in the future.
