Case Filed for Worker Whose Face Was Crushed

Arnold & Itkin's oilfield accident lawyers recently filed a case for a man from Avinger, Texas who was grievously injured in a workplace accident.

On the day of the incident, our client was working as a flowback and opened a pressure valve when it unexpectedly exploded in his face, a disaster that was the direct result of the defendant’s improper management of the jobsite. As a result, our client’s face was crushed. This accident caused this husband and father of three children to lose 50% of his orbital bone and suffer severe injuries to his right eye socket and nose.

“When defendants put profits over safety, unfortunate incidents like this one occur. This incident would never have occurred if the defendants had taken simple steps to properly manage the worksite. Because they did not, a loving husband was severely injured. We look forward to holding the responsible parties accountable,” said one of the attorneys on the case.

This suit was filed in Bienville Parish, Louisiana.
