Suit Filed for LA Woman Who Broke Both Shoulders in Rear-End Crash
Led by Roland Christensen, the attorneys at Arnold & Itkin LLP recently filed a case in Trinity County, Texas on behalf of a woman from Sulphur, Louisiana who was seriously injured when a commercial driver struck her from behind without warning.
Our client, who is a wife, mother, and grandmother, was driving on US 287 when the negligent driver failed to control his speed and keep a proper lookout. He slammed into the back of her vehicle with such force that her car spun multiple times and was pushed into the far lane. The violence of that impact was matched only by the severity of what it did to her body: she broke both of her shoulders. For a woman who has spent her life caring for her family, those injuries represent not just physical pain, but a loss of independence and the ability to show up for the people she loves.
No one should have to suffer injuries this serious because another driver couldn't be bothered to pay attention. Transportation companies have a responsibility to ensure that the drivers who represent them on public roads are properly trained, adequately supervised, and fit to operate their vehicles safely. When they cut corners on that responsibility, crashes like this one are only too likely to occur. As one of our attorneys noted, "When Defendants do not properly train their employees, incidents like this become inevitable. We look forward to getting justice for our client."
The personal injury attorneys at Arnold & Itkin are honored to stand beside this woman and her family as they pursue the accountability and compensation they deserve.
