Fracking Supervisor Suffers Crushed Pelvis in Bobcat Accident

- Arnold & Itkin

Our firm has filed suit in Harris County, Texas, on behalf of a worker who was struck by a Bobcat at a fracking operation. He suffered a crushed pelvis and is now restricted to a wheelchair.

Our client was working as a supervisor for a fracking contractor when the incident occurred. The Bobcat, which was not equipped with an alarm for reversing or rearview mirrors, struck our client and left him with catastrophic injuries that have changed the entire course of his life. A father or two who was very active and worked hard to become a respected operations supervisor, our client now faces the prospect of lifelong injuries. We have filed suit against the site’s operator, XTO, and its go-to equipment supplier, Blackstar, in connection with this tragic—and preventable—occurrence.

“It is shocking that sophisticated companies like XTO will still cut corners and supply their contractors with unsafe machines,” said our attorneys in a statement.

Our work injury attorneys are proud to represent this hard-working man and are grateful that he and his family put their trust in us to take the fight against the negligent companies who wronged him.
