Jasper, TX Oil Well Accident Injures Four

On early Saturday afternoon, four workers were seriously injured in an incident involving an oil well in Jasper, TX. According to early reports, oil and natural gas sprayed onto the workers and was ignited by a spark or some kind of ignition source.

In the aftermath of the incident, all four workers were driven in private vehicles to Jasper Memorial Hospital to receive emergency medical treatment. They were assisted by law enforcement vehicles to get there quickly.

It’s been reported that a worker was able to stay behind and shut down the well where the accident occurred without further incident.
