Case Filed for Amazon Worker Injured Because of Understaffing
Attorneys at Arnold & Itkin, led by Trent Shelton, have filed suit in Tarrant County, Texas, against Amazon.com Services, LLC. The suit alleges that our client sustained injuries because he was forced to work multiple chutes simultaneously without help due to understaffing and excessive workload at the Amazon air cargo hub at Fort Worth Alliance Airport.
Air cargo hubs move a high volume of freight that is meant to be handled by an adequately staffed team. When a company does not provide enough workers for the workload, employees like our client are left to take on more physical strain than any one person should reasonably be expected to handle.
Our workplace injury attorneys are pursuing full accountability from Amazon for failing to staff its facility appropriately, despite the company having more than enough resources to hire enough people for the job, and for the injuries our client suffered as a result.
