Case Filed for Forklift Operator Injured in Accident at Target
The Arnold & Itkin team has filed suit in Harris County against Target Corporation for a workplace injury that occurred around July 16, 2026 at a Target in Spring, Texas.
Our client was working as a receiver and was returning a forklift to its position. A coworker was operating a powered pallet jack and approached from behind. Despite being instructed to wait, the coworker drove the pallet jack into our client’s back. Our client suffered injuries to her back and legs, among other injuries.
Employers have a responsibility to ensure that employees who are operating powered equipment, like pallet jacks, are properly trained and follow safety instructions. That includes waiting for a clear path before proceeding with such potentially dangerous equipment.
The work injury attorneys at Arnold & Itkin are honored to represent our client and pursue the justice and compensation that she deserves for her painful injuries, medical care, and more.
