Suit Filed for Fort Worth Husband Crushed at Recycling Center
Attorneys Noah Wexler, Trevor Courtney, and Shane Munton recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Texas man who was catastrophically crushed to death while working at a recycling center in Fort Worth. Our client, a husband, was tasked with unloading large, heavy freeway signs when they fell off the truck and killed him.
No worker should lose his life unloading materials that were not properly secured or handled. Freeway signs of this size and weight require careful planning, the right equipment, and clear safety protocols to move without endangering the people tasked with handling them. When an employer ignores the basic precautions they need to take, the results can be fatal, and that is exactly what happened to our client.
Workers deserve to come home safely at the end of the day. And no spouse deserves to lose their partner in a preventable accident. Our wrongful death attorneys are committed to holding the companies responsible for this tragedy accountable, and we will do everything in our power to make sure our client’s family receives the justice that they deserve.
