The plant we were working at the time blew up. We all got injured. I ended up falling about 15 foot, hurting my ankle, having some surgeries on it, and stuff like that. It was very scary. I lost everything during it.
I lost a home, car, toys—you know, boats, things like that. I lost all of that. The company I was working for, they treated me like I was just another number. I wasn't a person, I wasn’t a human, or anything like that. They just brushed me off. Almost like a piece of garbage. That's how I felt with them.
What I really love about Arnold & Itkin is they just come to you.
They're upfront. They're honest. If you have any questions, you can call them at any time. Going to trial with them was probably the scariest thing I've ever had to do. But since day one, and that morning when I woke up, they were there. They calmed me down. They talked me through it, and it was not as stressful as I thought it was. Like I said, they really had my back. It was almost a family atmosphere.
If it wasn’t for Arnold & Itkin, I would be in a worse situation than when I got hurt, probably. The medical bills just piled up. They took care of that. The lawyers just hounded me on everything. They took control of everything. They just took it and helped me out when I needed it.
They really did have your back and fought a giant. That's what it was. I mean, me, just a little guy going against a major corporation—I was nothing. But then Arnold & Itkin came in and they just really took over. They're so smart, very intelligent, and they know the law and that means something. They don't just try to buddy-buddy with other defendants or the judge. They really know the law and I really appreciate that.
