I got in an accident in April 2010. I was aboard a drilling base there when the Deepwater Horizon blew up. I just found myself in a situation where I didn’t know where to go, where to turn, who to talk to. I was referred to Arnold & Itkin by a close friend of mine. I had great care. I worked with neighborhood doctors who actually discovered all my injuries and diagnosed me with PTSD. They took their time with everything. I mean it was a real good experience with the doctors I was with. Like I said, they would get me help in the areas I needed help with.
Any questions I had, any situations, any problems, I could just give them a call.
Arnold & Itkin, they were just real good with that. Asking me questions, keeping me updated with anything I needed. There’s really no comparison with the people in my area. Around my area, they’re not too knowledgeable in these situations, as far as offshore accidents and everything.
Arnold & Itkin was a good firm that led me to the right decisions to make, what to do, and most of all—getting me the right help. That was the biggest thing, getting the right help. Now that my case is settled, I feel like now I can actually move on with my life.
I can move on, get educated, and just start my life pretty much where I left off. There, plus I can go up from here. Pretty much all the bad stuff is just now under me, like I can now move up and, you know, move up the ladder now, and live my life actually.
