“Next thing you know, you see fire, people running over things.” Johnny recounts his experience as an explosion rattled his workplace and how Arnold & Itkin helped him recover from his injuries.
I was at work, normal work morning, nothing unusual. I went to my work area when: loud noise, rumbling coming through the ground. Next thing you knew, you see fire, people running, falling over things, hollering crying. Run for your life or get your life taken.
I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t do anything. I was a very active person. When all that is taken from you and you can’t do nothing, I’m a whole different person. Lost a wife, lost friends. Family members don’t even speak to you really. Your phone will stop ringing. No one wants to be bothered with you.
Arnold & Itkin came through. They comforted me. After speaking with them, meeting with them, I was like, “Okay, I have somebody who is really going to help me.” Everything was about me. Getting me better, see what happened to me, see what was going on—seeing what they could do to help me.
I needed to talk, express my feelings about what I was really going through. I could always get in contact with them. This whole process, it was rough, it was hard, but Arnold & Itkin made it easy with communication, understanding, and trust. I got my life back.
