Suit Filed for Louisiana Plant Operator Struck by Forklift

Attorneys Noah Wexler, Trevor Courtney, and Shane Munton have filed suit against a Georgia company for a Louisiana worker’s injuries.

An employee of the Georgia company ran over our client with a forklift, causing him to suffer a fractured leg and foot. Our client, a plant operator, was working in an area where he had every reason to expect he was safe, yet the company failed to properly train its forklift operators, as evidenced by this preventable and traumatic incident.

Dangerous pieces of heavy machinery like forklifts require the utmost care, attention, and proper training to be operated safely. Otherwise, when these machines are operated carelessly or by someone who hasn’t been adequately trained, they can inflict devastating injuries in a matter of seconds. When companies fail to invest in proper training and oversight for equipment this dangerous, it is innocent workers like our client who suffer the consequences.

The work injury lawyers at Arnold & Itkin will continue holding companies like this one responsible for the harm caused by their negligence. Our client is now dealing with a painful recovery and the financial strain that comes with a serious injury, and we are committed to pursuing full compensation on his behalf.
